She was born by her Hawaiian/Russian mother in Honolulu, Hawaii to his Filipino father. She was raised in Louisville, Kentucky with step dad Gary Scherzinger, who is a German, her mother Rosemary and sister Ke’ala. Nicole uses her stepfather’s surname, as he raised her and he has always been a good father to her. She started by in Louisville, joining the Youth Performing Arts School at Dupont Manual High School and playing at stage with Actors Theater of Louisville. In 1999, she chooses to be a backup vocal for the rock band Days of the New. Wherein she discontinue her studies at Wright State University, where she majored theater arts.
